Thermal oxidiser
SRM operates Waste Incineration Directive (WID) compliant thermal oxidisers at its Heysham and Rye sites. These are designed to destroy hazardous aqueous wastes that have an organic content, eg low flash point solvents that otherwise may be difficult to dispose of.
SRM has a stringent specification to meet in terms of inputs to thermal oxidisers. To find out if your waste is suitable for this unit, please contact the customer service centre.
