Another Win for the SRM SIPs Programme

Through its Stream Improvement Programmes (sips), SRM has been able to save a company in Northern France not only significant capital expenditure but also continuing operational costs.

  Rye Glass Plant
The Glass Distillation Plant at Rye

The company, a manufacturer of food grade chemicals, was contemplating investing in its own incineration capacity to destroy a number of waste streams including a large volume of acetic acid waste.

An examination of the problem by srm – and the implementation of sips – resulted in the wastes being turned into recyclable streams that effectively reduce operating costs and make the capital investment unnecessary.

Recovery work will be carried out on specialist glass distillation plant at srm’s Rye operation. If you would like information on how sips might benefit your business, please contact Mike Crarer on 07766 088765.

Alternatively, visit the following link, www.srm-ltd.com/sips-offer.htm and request a priority place for existing customers who would like to see if sips would work for them.

Success with this contract means srm has an increased volume of high quality, recovered acetic acid for sale. If you would like a product specification or price indication, please contact solvent sales manager, John Taylor on either 01524 865406 or 07771 963456.
